:''For the American philosopher see Abraham Joshua Heschel. For the Hasidic rebbe see Avraham Yehoshua Heshel.'' Avraham Yehoshua (or Abraham Joshua) Heschel (died 1663) was a renowned rabbi and talmudist in Kraków, Poland. In 1654 Herschel became chief rabbi of Kraków, succeededing Yom-Tov Lipmann Heller upon his death.〔 Subsequent to the Chmielnicki massacres, Heschel was lenient in allowing ''agunah''s (women whose husbands were only presumed dead) to remarry. Heschel's second wife was Dina, the granddaughter of Saul Wahl, who according to folklore was king of Poland for one day.〔 Heschel is buried in the Old Jewish Cemetery of Kraków, also known as the Remuh Cemetery. ==References== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Avraham Yehoshua Heschel」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
